Racing Before the Wind

Jade rode the gentle swells of Pasikudah Bay like a low, sleek marine bird, waiting for the signal to take flight. The long white twin-hulls of the catamaran barely caused a ripple as she nosed into a sea that had that exceptional shade of azure rarely seen on the west coast of the island. My third cover feature for the year fronts the June 2016 issue of Serendib, the inflight magazine of SriLankan Airlines. The article is Racing Before the Wind, so follow the link, or pick up a mag if you’re flying in June, to see more pictures and read more about yachting off the east coast of Sri Lanka.
