Kuragala #2 by Son of the Morning Light on 500px.com

The steep Kuragala escarpment with, beyond it, the Udawalawe Basin. Kuragala is one of the oldest sites of human habitation in Sri Lanka, with its caves showing signs of once being home to the prehistoric Balangoda Man. It is also the site of a 2nd century BC Buddhist monastery, and a more recent Sufi shrine. Shot from the lower end of the Beragala Pass in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. January 2017.
